Anti bridging silo

Three measures are to know the property and structure of materials and to prevent the arching of powder materials:

1) Improve the half top angle of the hopper's blanking port;

2) Reduce the powder pressure in the silo;

3) Reduce the friction resistance of the silo wall.


Classification

1) Meshing arch: material arch formed by powder granular materials meshing with each other to achieve force balance;

Wedge arch: increase the size of discharge port, reduce the top angle of hopper or use asymmetric hopper (eccentric discharge port) to improve the hopper geometry.

2) Compression arch: due to the effect of the silo pressure, the consolidation strength of the powder material increases, resulting in the arch;

Compression arch: improve hopper geometry by increasing discharge port size and reducing bucket top angle. The fluidizer can produce a layer of gas film between the material and the bin, which can effectively help the flow of the material with poor fluidity, not only prevent the material from bridging, but also improve the unloading efficiency. The fluidizer is made of sintered polyethylene, which meets the requirements of fad. It can be sterilized for 30min at 120 ℃. Improve the wall material to reduce the wall friction resistance.

3) Bonded arch: a material arch formed by a material with strong cohesiveness, which increases the adhesion between the material and the warehouse wall due to the action of moisture, moisture absorption or static electricity;

Viscous adhesion arch: to reduce the friction resistance of the wall by moisture-proof or static elimination. Store the materials that are easy to absorb water properly to prevent moisture; set up the static grounding plate on the silo and the explosion-proof and exhaust device to eliminate static electricity.

4) Air pressure balance arch: the arch formed when the upper and lower air pressure reaches balance when the air leakage of the silo rotary discharger is poor;

Air pressure balance arch: improve hopper geometry by using asymmetric hopper (eccentric discharge port). The measures of exhaust gas are taken to reduce the friction resistance of the silo wall. For example, measures such as adding exhaust pipe at the top of the silo. Air is continuously introduced into the powder to loosen the powder and achieve the purpose of flow aid, such as air gun, flow aid disc, etc. the other is to vibrate and knock the silo with vibration percussion equipment to destroy the force balance between the powder, such as air hammer, etc.
