Structure of silica sand dryer
1. Cylinder: a circular cylinder made of steel plate. Diameter is 0.8m More than 4mm, 2-50m long.
2. Material dispersion - board reading: the board reading is designed to make the material completely dispersed in the dryer so that the hot air can fully contact with the material. There are many forms of the board, which are suitable for materials and drying stage.
3. Wheel hoop and supporting idler: it is the supporting part that bears the rotation of the cylinder, which is made of cast iron, section steel and cast steel. According to the length of the cylinder, it can be supported by 2, 3 or 4 points.
4. Driving device: friction drive, chain drive, gear drive and other forms, depending on the power.
5. Air sealing device: the rotating cylinder and fixed part must be sealed to prevent hot air leakage.
Advantages of silica sand dryer
Large production capacity, continuous operability; wide application and large operational flexibility; simple structure, easy operation; few failures, with low maintenance costs; small hydraulic resistance and easy sweeping.
Type of silica sand dryer
1. Directly-heated rotary dryer: The heating transfer fluid in the dryer is directly contacted with the dried materials, and such convective heat transfer can realize high thermal utilization factor. Therefore, the dryer is most widely used.
2. Indirectly-heated rotary dryer: The heating medium of the dryer is not directly contacted with the dried materials, and all heat for drying is transferred to the dried materials through heat transfer wall, that is, by heat conduction. The characteristics of the equipment are low drying cost; high output and thermal efficiency; low requirement for the fuel, such as the bituminous coal, anthracite, oil, gas and pulverized coal; simple and stable operation.
3. Combined heat transfer rotary dryer: Some heat of the dryer is transferred from the heating medium to the dried material through heat transfer wall, and the rest is transferred and directly contacted with the heat transfer fluid. Therefore, the dryer combines heat conduction with convective heat transfer to realize high thermal utilization factor.
Precautions for silica sand dryer
1. Before start-up of each shift, the fasteners must be carefully checked for looseness;
2. If any abnormal phenomenon is found during operation, the machine shall be shut down immediately for inspection: whether the fastener is loose, whether the bearing is damaged, whether the motor is in fault, etc. It can be put into operation after troubleshooting.
3. Each time the machine is shut down, the following sequence shall be followed: first stop the feeder, then stop the fan and heater, and then stop the main machine after the materials in the standby are emptied, so as to prevent the wet materials from caking and cuddling in the machine;
4. When changing the variety of drying materials, the main machine must be dried first, washed with water, and dried with hot air before putting new materials.
