Working principle of gypsum powder dryer

Gypsum powder is a kind of mineral substance with high viscosity. During drying, the wet gypsum powder is delivered into hopper with roller conveyor. The feed hopper is directly connected with the drying cylinder, so the wet gypsum powder can enter the drying cylinder from the feed hopper and contacted with the hot air in the drying cylinder for drying.

Drying process of WAN TAI gypsum powder

1. The wet gypsum powder is contacted with the hot air in drying cylinder, and the water content is evaporated by means of the temperature difference between hot air and wet gypsum powder;

2. A shoveling plate is arranged on the inner wall of drying cylinder to lift the gypsum constantly, making it move and fully contacted with the hot air during lifting and scattering, and accelerating the heat exchange between hot air and gypsum powder;

3. A sweeping device is arranged on the inner wall of rotating cylinder to sweep the caking and adhered materials on the wall and prevent blocking during drying.
