Overview of limestone dryer

Limestone dryer, widely applied to the industries such as building materials, metallurgy, beneficiation, chemical engineering and cement, can be used for drying materials such as mineral slag, carbide slag, limestone, clay, river sand, quartz sand and water slag.Limestone dryer is suitable for various combustion furnaces: high-temperature boiling furnace, coal pulverizer and artificial coaling furnace.

Equipment of limestone drying production line

The limestone drying production line is mainly composed of rotating cylinder, induced air equipment, high-speed scattering equipment, lifting plate, self-cleaning device, transmission, conveying equipment, hot air equipment, reducer, supporting device and sealing device. The whole drying equipment has the advantages of reasonable design, excellent workmanship, stable performance, advanced process, high output, low energy consumption, small floor area and high mechanization degree.

Technical characteristics of limestone dryer

1. The limestone dryer is provided with an advanced and low-pressure-loss vertical preheater to effectively improve the preheating effect. The kiln-feed decomposition rate of preheated limestone can reach 20-25%, and 10-15mm limestone can be directly used.

2. The limestone dryer has the reliable combined scale-sealing at both ends. The compound refractory material with the air leakage factor of less than 10% can reduce the radiation heat loss.

3. The limestone dryer is provided with a fill-up zoned-ventilated round or square vertical cooler, which can cool the limestone to be 800℃+ to facilitate conveying and storage, and preheat the kiln-feed secondary air to over 7,000℃, better reducing the use of moving parts and special materials.
